BIO: Born in the wilderness of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Maddisun creates songwriter-folk with rootsy rock energy, blending small-town roots with big-star ambition. Known for her warm, magnetic presence and powerhouse vocals, she has become a standout voice in Canada’s independent music scene. Roots Music Canada praised her “larger-than-life onstage persona” and “huge voice, matched by her stage presence.”

In 2025, Maddisun released her album The Pages, a deeply personal project that marked a major evolution in her artistry and sold more than 1,000 physical copies independently. Her music continues to gain momentum through national radio support, including airplay on SiriusXM Canada. That same year, she opened for rising artist Pearl in Vancouver and expanded her audience through relentless grassroots touring.

A passionate believer in keeping rock and roll alive, Maddisun has built her career the old-fashioned way: connecting with audiences one show at a time, often touring in her beloved 1976 Chevy Chevette. Fresh from a successful 13-show tour across Ireland and the UK and an official showcase at Departure Fest in Toronto, she is embarking on a cross-Canada tour and preparing to release her crowd favourite single, “Natural People,” in 2026.
